Hi all,
So I think I have narrowed down two bike choices. Their added extra's make it a bit hard to work out which way I should lean. There is only a couple of hundred $ splitting the two price wise (Pinarello slightly more expensive
2016 Ridley Noah SL
-Upgraded to Ultegra Di2 11speed.
-Upgraded dead carbon aero cockpit
-upgraded decadence carbon clincher wheels
The con of this one is the stem has been chopped to slam the cockpit. May not be an issue once I get to test ride but possibly expensive to reverse.
2019 Pinarello Gan S
– upgraded SRAM red ETAP 11 speed
– HSC ceramic bottom bracket.
– HSC carbon jockey wheels with ceramic bearings.
– DT Swiss RC38c Spline wheels (just rebuilt)
– Zipp service course Bars 40cm.
– Zipp service course stem 120mm.
– Sells Italia Novus super flow saddle.
The only con I can think of with this one is from what I read about SRAM ETAP throwing chains (possibly not an issue)
Am I splitting hairs with these two or is there clear winner from the two?
