Brand new to cycling, I'm looking to bike around the Irvine area of SoCal and take advantage of the many trails around me.
Buddy recommended a gravel bike, and I noticed both the ADV 2.2 and 2.3 Bikes on sale from REI for significant discounts.
Walked into a local bike store as well, and was recommended the TREK Domane AL4 as a solid endurance bike as well.
Is there a major difference between the two REI bikes, now that the 2.2 has Hydraulic Breaks (sounds like newly refreshed)? Should I be looking at the Road Bike instead?
