I had these Continental 4 seasons tires installed in May of 2022 and have put roughly 1,200 miles on them since then. The bike is stored strictly indoors.
I was wondering if this wear is normal and if the bike is still safe to ride or if it’s time to replace. I also wonder if bike tires and their installation typically come with any sort of warranty.
I’m a relatively new biker and don’t have a good frame of reference for these sorts of things. I appreciate any guidance!

Nah, those are rotten, I’ve had 15 year old garage stored tires that look better
Definitely not normal. I have 20 year old mtb tires that look way better.
When rubber starts cracking like that it means it’s very old and needs replacement. Maybe a production defect in this case.

I have the same tires, bought a year ago, 3000 km done with them. Always stored inside as well
I have the exact same pattern of crack, they appeared a while back.
Should i worry as well? I love this tires, they work really well, ton of grip, never had a puncture
Old and dry rotted. Ideally they should be replaced. But if you’re using it to go a few miles at a time at low speed? You should be fine.
It’s normal for Continentals. They’re great when they’re new but they crack up so easily.
Looks like maybe ozone damage to the rubber. Constant exposure to ozone will destroy tires by causing them to age prematurely. Do you store your bike near a furnace, water heater, air purifier, UV light, anything like that? Anyhow you should replace these.
