Hello all, fresh off the Barcelona to Montpellier buzz & itching for new adventures I’ve come across some tasty routes online that transcend the entirety of the Canary Islands . There’s also a very well made collection by a lady I have been stealing a basic route from, my only question for now is, for Tenerife; is there anywhere to stay hostels hotel airbnb whatever once you pass into the massive national park area? See images; after 16 miles it appears there isn’t another major town ( or anything to my knowledge ) until 58 miles into the route. Is it a tent job? I do love a hot shower after a days peddling and try to find places to stay usually but will obviously sleep under the stars if there is no other option – has anyone else cycled from Tenerife south to the ferry port? Is it worth sticking to the other roads that are full of “rural casa” hotels? I currently have plans for each island so expect many many more questions – thanks in advance! Happy riding all.
