Today’s ride takes us up in to the village of Fasoula and the steep climb over to Mathikoloni. As positive as my videos usually are this has a twinge of negativity in it as I am highlighting two not so nice things about Cyprus,
1. Animal neglect.
2. Environmental neglect.

Apart from these things you can join my on a couple of amazing downhills in the stunning, scenic Limassol district mountains.

Enjoy the video friends! Lee 🙂

Since 2017 the “Cyclepaths” have raised thousands of euros through our European cycling adventures by setting up fundraisers for the individual events. I (Lee), in particular support the Sirius Dog Sanctuary here in Limassol, Cyprus. Unfortunately there is a big animal neglect problem here and I support anyone who fights this ongoing battle.

We always pay 100% of the costs for these trips and every single cent raised always goes 100% to the charities.

AS BEAUTIFUL AS CYPRUS IS, THERE IS A SERIOUS ANIMAL NEGLECT PROBLEM HERE.
MANY PEOPLE, MAINLY VOLUNTEERS TRY TO HELP WITH VERY LITTLE HELP FROM THE GOVERNMENT.
EVERY SMALL BRICK CAN MAKE A PYRAMID.
RESPECT ANIMALS!

  1. Hi Lee – another great video – as mentioned on one of your previous vids I am travelling to Cyprus on the 9th of July and will be taking the bike (will be based in Paphos) – would be great to plan a ride if you're about.

  2. Two comments.
I knew that road before it was blacktop but was a gravel top. It was even more twisty.

A colleague lived in Mathekoloni. He cycled to the office each day, but complained he never got to 100kph.
