Grade 0 ("preschool" age 5 to 6) just started school. I came by a class out practising their commute to the nearby school with their teacher today.
Gotta start them early.
They were so darling. A few of them even still had training wheels. I see this every year and every time I am enamoured of their cuteness.

My PreK and 1st graders were excited to learn so they could show up to school on their bikes (and proudly show off the lack of training wheels). We have a paved path like this from our neighborhood to school, so it’s a safe commute and huge quality of life benefits. It’s something I’m glad we focused bikablity on when buying a house.

My 1st grader needs the bike commute as much as I do for mental health. He’s a wiggly kid with lots of energy and the bike commute helps calm his body and mind before having to sit in a classroom.
Love the orange outfit. Like, there is no blending into the background with bright colors! Safety first.
Also, have you considered taking off the training wheels and taking off the pedals? This will get them to balance first, which is the hardest thing to do. Then, put the pedals after they learn the tough part.
Edit: I assumed you were part of the class, but that was a big assumption and it looks like you may not be.
It’s a mini bike bus!https://www.wired.com/story/how-to-start-a-bike-bus/
