Couple of mm wider than what you have now, probably no more than 28s.
It’s a rim braked bike, you’re really limited, gravel bikes and tyres are all based around disc brakes.
Id say 28MM, maybe 30MM at a push but I doubt it. What size is on the wheel in the picture?
Try 32s and if it’s too big for gravel it’ll at least make roads a bunch smoother
The limiting factor beyond whether the frame can accommadate a wider tyre is really how wide the rim brakes open out before you can’t get the wheel off. If you have a 28 I suspect you can get away with a 30. Once there I think that’s going to be your limit unless you are happy undoing the rim brake cable clamp every time you need to change or repair a tyre. Although to be fair if it punctures and you have to take it off it will be flat anyway.
Every bike is a gravel bike if you ride it on gravel!
