It can be a loose cassette or freehub is worn out. I would take apart. So either you have a “freehub and cassette” or a freewheel (where the cassette has threads and screws onto the wheel).

Judging by the number of cogs I would assume a new freehub is in order! Just need a removal tool.

Definitely investigate. If it were me I’d take it apart, check the spacers, give it a good clean and tighten it back up.

A little play on Shimano freehub bodies is normal even when the cassette is fully tightened, I’d say it’s fine as long as it doesn’t interfere with shifting. If you want to investigate though you’ll need a big ass allen wrench (size varies, could be 11, 12 or bigger mm) to check that the body is not loose. I just installed one of the newer Cues free hubs that has about the same amount of play, checked it and nothing was loose so I let it be, shifts just fine.

That is normal for a 6 speed Shimano cheap priced system. Continue riding.
