
Doing a bike restauration in process of putting it back together, small chainging is rubbing the frame, nothing seems to be bent, not sure if it did before taking it apart. Bb is adjustable cone with 2 sealed bearing, im waiting on new bearinf so i havent tighned the cranks down yet. Is there a chance it will not rubb once i tighten it down.

Get smaller chainring or new bb with longer axle
It’s possible your BB spindle is asymmetrical and you’ve put the shorter side on the wrong side
Here are your two answers. These guys got it right.
If you want to replace this BB, measure the spindle length and add like 6mm. That should give you +3mm of clearance on that DS.
Order a new square taper bottom bracket.
