Hi. I am a new rider. I plan on riding some tow paths and rail trails representing a mix of paved, small gravel, and hard dirt. No extreme terrain, but maybe a little hilly at times near home. I think I'm really looking for 2x, something light, and something that can be repaired/upgraded without much stress. I've narrowed it down to GT Grade Comp / Carbon Elite and Superior X Road aluminum 105 / carbon 105. Superior also has a GRX but I'm not sure if it even matters to go from 105 to GRX. Is any of these a bikes a stand out option? Is there something else I should look into?
