Wondering how compatible parts are from these sizes.
I'm 6'4, have tried everything but a larger frame, on a 21" TT at the moment. Bigger bars, spacers, longer chainstay, higher rise stem. Still just feel tiny and awkward bike position.
Anyways, I want to try out a 22" now, and wondering if I can swap the known stuff, like frame, wheels, and tires. But leave bars, stems and all that.
Or, just get a complete like this fit series 22 and just sell my current ride? Imagine it might be the same price upgraded wheels, frame and fork anyways.
Riding is mostly dirt, transition and less techy stuff.

Technically the only new things you would need would be wheels, fork and the chain. But technically you could still run your wheels and fork if you wanted to. It just may look funny.

Interesting thing from [Tyson Jones-Peni](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C-tV245yTK-/?igsh=Mjc3OHR3bzk5dDVt) about running a 22” wheeled frame with 20” wheels, which I haven’t tried but sounds interesting.
But, honestly, you’d probably feel good on a 21.5” frame or longer. I’m 5’11” and feel like 21” is the absolute shortest tt frame I would run. I feel more comfortable in the 21.25” with a mid-ranged cs length. You’d probably want something with a chainstay around the 14” mark or so.
Everything is the same except the frame, forks, and rims. You could keep your hubs if you wanted just need longer spokes and 22″ runs and tires. You’re better off buying the complete and seeing if you like it. I got a WTP audio complete and have really liked it so far. There were a couple brand new fit 22s on marketplace by me for $300, but both sold before I could get there so I spent a little more and got a used audio. I’m kind of glad I spent a little more because it is a better bike. I’m probably going to build a 20 in the future, but don’t see myself ever getting rid of a 22. I spoke with fit and they said the bike would handle pegs and the abuse of street riding as good as anything else.
Edit: If you have really good parts already you may be able to find a deal on a frame/fork combo and build or buy new wheels. There is a WTP audio frame and fork by me on marketplace for $250. I was starting from scratch or I would’ve just bought a frame fork and rims if I still had my old bike.
