  1. really hard to diagnose noises i’ll be honest. i’m hearing a clicking when you put pressure on the pedals; i usually blame bottom brackets especially if they’re press-fit, but it’s good to rule out other stuff by checking torque on everything else: wheel quick releases, pedals, seatpost and saddle, bottle cages, stem bolts— even stuff that doesn’t seem relevant at all. after that you can swap in some different pedals and see if that helps. different wheels if you have them. at that point i might look into swapping the BB.

as for the thing rattling around inside, not sure, couldn’t really hear it that well. could be anything, cable tip or piece of packaging. if you change the BB you’ll have a good opportunity to investigate.

  2. That sound could be any number of things. I can’t really tell you what it is without closer examination.

The best way to get rid of a sound is to take everything apart, grease, and put it back together. Also, check spoke tension.

    1. Change pedals if not
    2. tighten up the krankarm bolts, if not
    3. maybe new bottom bracket have to be replaced, if not
    4. you may strip down dropout for rear derailleur and put some hard grease for for example wheel bearings, between frame and dropout.
    5. check the frame…. Could be that is broken when is welding between top tube and seat tube. Sometimes is breaking next to the seat clamp.
Inspection of the frame is best in the evening with strong torch 🙂
