  1. I am from Dehradun and currently living in mumbai, for every small town guy who comes to metro cities for any opportunity he immediately realises what peace his small town offers him and he understands that values after losing that peace 😅

  2. I have a rented place in Delhi NCR and also stay at Karimganj, Assam ( a small town close to Bangladesh border).

In winters I travel to Delhi stay there, hang out with friends and go to parties etc.

Then again come back to the small town, enjoy the greens and the rain. Life is slow here but it gives me so much time to upskill at peace, take time and think and more importantly eat Maa ke haath ka khana. 😅

I am big fashion afficionado and have a huge collections of limited edition fashion clothes and accessories but what's the point of wearing them at place where people live on 10k to 20k a month. So then I keep them at Delhi and when in visit I wear them. Also Delhi allows me to travel around. Flights are cheaper.

The cost of flights from Delhi to my hometown is equivalent to travelling to Dubai.

Life is not about money, savings, making future for your kids or satisfy your ego. Life is all about being part of a society.

Someday do spend a cafe wala coffee with an watchman outside some ATM and talk or buy a good meal and sit with some old age home people or feed some pergions even. Even if you become a VP or even a CTO, or earn in crores you will start to talk less about it because it doesn't define you. The sheer happiness of sharing empathy and compassion will start to define you more.

  3. I am from Dehradun born and brought up here only! But personally I think every individual is different we can't say who is happy or not, we can't set a standard of life in hills that are good and life in metro cities are bad.
I feel both are doing great in their life and most importantly as a couple they both want the same thing not like one wants to live in the remote and the other wants to stay in the city. And I think this is a sign of happy marriage & understanding each other's needs.

  4. These are two sides of living but i want to bring third one as well. It is living in a non-metro cities (Agra, mathura, prayagraj, vijaywada). These are tier 2-3 cities and living here will solve all the problems.

    * multiple schools , hospitals and other places are available.
    * less cost of living.
    * other basic needs are also available (i.e. internet)
    * if we stay outer borders of these cities then those are less polluted and also these borders are not far from the centre of the city.

  5. Shifting to places like Dehradun is win win in all the scenarios except "education".
Which I believe one should not compromise.
There is a huge mentality gap between tier-1 and tier-3 cities. Just like IIT college vs any random private college.

  6. congrats shit people have come to destroy remaining places which they were not able to in cities. If you want so much people then leave high paying job and become farmer. Typical asshole society kids

  7. Look at the difference firstly.

Weight of the Couples are way different, one is living in a Closed Building, and one on mountain.

Money Never gave you Peace I think it's the Value system you carry.

  8. I am from Dehradun and I live and work in Bangalore. This was very relevant for me thanks. If Doon had jobs I would not have continued to work in Bangalore. I hope i can go back to Doon to live closer to my family without worrying about Money.

  9. I emmigrated to the US in 2012 and since then I found that only con that make me not to live in rural India is that my kids does all sorts of activities, like Ballet, Swimming, Gymnastics, Code-camps, robotics, …so while they are dependent on us I won't see myself ever retiring back to my home place.

  10. Mumbai couple saying it was difficult to find a house in Bangalore is a joke 😂😂😂 it is so easy to find a house in Bangalore and especially when your budget is this high so stop lying

  11. 80 lacs house in some far away Village and they say, they didn't want to spend much.. what kind of joke is that…. People are only interested to film rich and wealthy…. They can have anything and anywhere in this country…. If your area showing the possibility, show something real that most people can afford… I m single earning quite very well,, but not really interested in buying a house for 40 lacs also ..

  12. Learning from this video – everyone with a decent income should think about moving to tier 3 cities for a quieter retirement!
Don't worry about Children's education, it happens.
