Builders of some of the bike porn-iest custom steel bikes in the world, Speedvagen seemed to lay everyone off and drop off the face of the earth late last year, with vague promises of returning to their roots / simplifying things / etc.
As far as I can tell, there haven’t been any website updates or IG posts in nearly a year.
Does anyone know what really happened, and whether they plan to return?

I’ve been wondering about this as well. I always dreamed of one day owning one of their bikes. Such a bummer if they are really having to throw in the towel.
Every few months I pull up their IG just to check – moved a few hours away from PDX and have dreamed of picking up one of their frames since then. I wish them well regardless of whatever they chose to do, they produced some truly beautiful bikes.
