I am trying to change the BB on a 2021 Rocky Mountain Solo A30. The bearings came out easily, but it seems like this outer shell is also a part of the BB, which I realized only after partially mangling it.
Read the text in the photo? Says it is “For BB 386 frame”, so clearly *not* a part of the frame. I would presume it is (or at least used to be) a third party bottom bracket (i.e. not one that SRAM makes themselves) that fits GXP cranksets into a BB386EVO frame. If it is metal you may be able to press new bearings into it, if it is plastic the whole thing should probably best be replaced.
