Hello,

I currently own a Giant Contend SL1 2019 with Shimano 105 and Rim Brakes. I'm running 28mm Pirelli Cinturato Velo puncture resistant tyres on it. The bike is quite good on asphalt but it's not the best for gravel riding.

I plan to ride some gravel trails (mostly category 2) in dry as well as rainy conditions, in the south of Germany. I am considering to get a Canyon Endurace AL 7 2024 with Disc Brakes. As per the Canyon website, the frame has clearance upto 35mm tyres.

I am planning to put Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M 35mm tyres as soon as I get the bike.

Could I please get some opinions if this bike would be a good upgrade for me?

If someone owns this bike or a similar model from Canyon and has switched to gravel tyres, please do share your experiences.
