This bike is listed for sale in my area. Seller is asking $500. I am looking for a beginner commuter bike and I don’t feel like I need to to spend too much to get around. They say it’s a Giant Defy Aluxx in size large. I can’t find too much about this particular model and it’s value. How much would you offer for this bike?

15+ year old aluminum road bike in unrestored condition 200-300. A road bike would not be my first choice for a commuter.
