Ok…got this cotter pin BB on an Azuki step thru. It’s this gap. If I close the gap, to tight. Was there a spacer I lost somewhere?

The shell probably ran out of threads. Did you install the drive side last?
Looks cross threaded to me

Fully install drive side cup before installing axle.
