Thank you for posting this. I’ve been looking for the specs on the Bennet ever since I posted my flash back bike check. I remember thinking at the time that I bought a “light” frame because it was under 7 lbs. haha
I still run raw brakeless pitchforks with the peg bosses…they weigh a metric ton, but so do I, and they keep the front peg stress off my 3/8 axle…

Wow what a throwback. I had the slam bars, a pitchfork,a redneck stem and the ram rod post with the Marvin guts. My bike had to have been sooo heavy.

Yeah my first custom bike was around this time i could have sworn this was the year the blackbike came out?? I had the pitchforks/redneck. S&M was so great to work with when i snapped my first frame the sent me a new one no questions asked.
I still have the 03 catalog. Interestingly the ditchforks were called ditchforks again in 03, and I owned some bought in 98 that were also labeled ditchforks.
