Initially I figured a Domane AL2 would be a nice starter bike but the price to componentry along with the fact it was a endurance type sort of turned me off, and down the line if I were to purchase the SL5 the inbuilt seat post suspension seems like a mantainence nightmare. I was contemplating saving up for the Emonda but by the time I'm able to buy that they will all be sold out (plus 3k AUD for a aluminium frame seems nuts in comparison to the 3 bikes I just listed.)
