I’ve tried to use phone mount but that was messing even with my focus (I was afraid to drop or damage the phone during the entire ride and that made me not enjoy the ride).
I’m impressed how the quality of the ride can be improved with the correct gear (bags are new as well).

Hey I’ve been wondering about the same thing. Why use a GPS device, when you have your phone with maps? Please excuse the noob question.

Edge 530 user for the ride stats and I also quad lock a pixel phone.
I don’t like the GPS interface on the Garmin and I like the other functions I use on the phone.
