  1. For what? To ride? Or to sell?

You’re better off just selling it for $100 right now if that’s your intention.

  2. I don’t know how the experience might overlap with your Verve, but that Schwinn is a very cute, rideable bike. As others said, looks in good shape, shouldn’t need much more than a wipe down and some chain lube.

  3. Then-Cicada-5029 on

I have one of a similar vintage. I found mine to be tough, well balanced, and fast once you get up to speed. The one problem I ran into was the tires. The roads and sidewalks where I’m at are covered in car shrapnel and I was unable to find a thorn resistant inter tube or heavier tire that would fit the vintage rims. I sincerely hope your roads are better than mine and you have better fortune with the tires. Should be a good ride. Godspeed.

  4. It has a generator and everything…too bad you can’t change to wider tires, no room…has friction shifting, believe it or not, is the best system… double tube frame for a stiffer frame…

  5. Do you need to raise the seat??? You might have room for a seatpost suspension…they are great bumm savers…
