Got this from a family member's back shed for free. I had thought to clean it up and sell it, but as soon as I got it running, my daughter was in love after one ride. She can't believe how smooth it is compared to her newer and supposedly newer better Gravity bike I got her last year (bikes direct.com)

It's beautiful in purple, and I love how the women's frame has 3 sets of tubes down the back, very distinct. It had no front brake on it, so I set up a v brake in front and even managed to use the canti brake stem routing. Put Kool Stops on the u brake and it's fine for the rear.

My daughter hates grip shifting, and I don't blame her so I might put some 3×7 shift pods on.

It's unbelievable how smooth it rides even after 20 years in a barn. It absolutely glides. And I haven't even regreased anything yet, I just cleaned it and lubed the chain and shift cables.

I’ve also noticed how well those older Shimano hubs seem to run. Not sure if it’s better quality bearings or grease, or less pawls in the freehub, but it’s noticeable… Definitely doesn’t make me miss sealed bearings.
