This will be my first road bike, so need some advice on whether or not this is a good deal.
Cannondale synapse de segunda mano por 600 EUR en Olot en WALLAPOP
Seller says it's from 2016, but based on external cable routing seems like it's more like 2012 or 2013.
I looked through all of the Cannondale catalogs from 2010 – 2018 and didn't find this exact frameset. Anyone have any more info?
Description on wallapop is in catalan, most everything should be understandable, but just in case here's a translation…
- Shimano ultegra groupset
- SI Carbon crankset
- Mavic Ksyrium wheels
- Carbon seat, seatpost, and handlebar

I believe this is a [2006](https://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1945720/).
600 seems quite a bit too high for me. I’d buy it at 400 maybe? But with a bike this old, it mostly depends on the condition; if it’s been ridden into the ground and needs a full service, you’re out another 100-400 Euros. And the seller lying about its age does not give me a good feel…

As others have said it looks more like a 2006, it’s getting on a bit.
The seller could have made an honest mistake by saying it’s a 2016, however I would be reluctant to buy off anyone who is being dishonest and advertising falsely. You never know what else they are lying about.
