Went to change rear brake pads and noticed this damage. Derailleur looks like it’s pushed into the frame, not sure if it’s frame damage ?
Bike bought new last year, had maybe 10 rides last season and 3 bike park rides this season.
No big crashes or bangs, bike is well cared for, never dropped.
What’s the verdict? Rideable, contact Santa Cruz or other?
No clue how it happened

I’m not sure what you’re talking about to be honest. That just looks like some kind of protective wrap over the frame.
