Oh well, it’s not much worth really and it happens to be my size…
Nah, just kidding! Where did you get it? I guess you already checked out the groupset, right? Not less than 4 digits for sure… for me, the really nice part is the frame… Freschi from Milan… you always see Colnago, Bianchi and De Rosa bikes from the same region, personally i like more the lesser known artisanal framebuilders… like Freschi, Stelbel, Drali etc.
Edit: did you get it like this? I was blinded by the beauty and didn’t notice the brake cables going in front of the handlebar… that looks awful, smh… also the sides are flipped (unless you are left handed and can’t otherwise, i’d change them… behind and crossing, that is the way)
QuetzalCoatl-Axolotl on
Freschi are highly sought bikes, not renowned as other brands but collectors who know may pay a lot for such a frame with its split tube. Plus it has the 50th Anniversary groupset in very nice to pristine condition. Cables are not properly mounted, remove the ugly bottle cage and try to find a better saddle. One could sell it for something like 4000€ here in Europe quite easily I’d say, maybe quite more if you have some time and find the appropriate collector (maybe in Asia if you advertise it properly and can get a good packaging).
