I'm a born 67 rude boy roots vinyl addict & my lovely wife loves her one min i'm a 50's hot rod mechanic/ check my new dress type, Uk Mixed culture is still alive in 2024 as we had to look sharp at the youth club on a friday.
I love the music you put on your vids with the mix of stills and video, it really does make your content stand out from the rest. I also love the end bit with Sid and Babs.
Keep up the good work buddy! 👌⭐ I was a Mod from '78 ( yes, before that film came out! Mod here was dead and done by the time the film come out ! It probably lasted 4months ) till '83, I still have Brighton on my bucket list to this day! Jim🏴🙂
I particularly liked the red & white spiral scooter, its quite unique.❤️🛵🤍 Thanks for the quantity production & sharing with those of us who can't make it down to Brighton, looks like everyone had a great weekend. 😎
Great achievement capturing the Isle and this on the same weekend! I like a tune as much as the next man but really good in this vid to hear the sounds of the street.
This must be one of the best if not the best video of scooters and music I have seen.i have not been to Brighton for the mod weekend it looks amazing, imust get there one day may be next year hopefully ❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🤩😊😎🤗
Brighton 1964 was good but it was the 1st year of proper Mods on Lambrettas and Vespas. Previous bank holidays we would go on all sorts of scooters like Zundapps and Maicolettas and basically anything that looked like a scooter :). 1965 was when it really kicked off and was really busy; police put up road blocks to stop us getting to Brighton. When we eventually managed to arrive the police corralled everyone on the beach to the left of the pier for 6 hours. No toilets, no drink. They couldn't do that these days. In 1966 we decided to try somewhere else and headed for Hastings. I still have a copy of the the Sunday Pictorial with the Headline – 'Battle of Hastings 1066 – 1966'. it was hectic and police reinforcements were drafted in from all over even though we were not doing anything wrong , just going there for the Bank Holiday. For Brighton 2024 to be more realistic you need loads of police worried the Mods were going to cause havoc when actually we were then as nice as the Mods are today. The Guildford & Godalming Boys are now all in our late 70's early 80's but we still get together but mostly at funerals……Ziggy Zagger, Ziggy Zagger, Oi Oi Oi .
