Dawes bike yes or no?

Hi everyone! I’m trying to enter fixed bikes cuz it looks cool and fun to me, and I want to buy a first not that expensive bike. I thought that it would be a great idea to look for something more advanced and cheap on marketplace, so my eye fell on this one. What do you think, should I buy it as a first bike? Is Dawes a good brand and is $300 a fair price for it?
