I haven’t done whis, but it depends on how strong the backwall is – and you need to drill towards the bottom as brompton bags are mounted on the bottom back edge

Yeah, it’s pretty easy – mount it at the bottom and rivet a piece of plywood in to give it rigidity.

You can search eBay for Brompton cargo mount adapter. You probably need to remove one of your existing mount before you screw on the adapter. So it will probably be a one-way conversion. Make sure the size fit, it’s about 12cm x 11cm.

I don’t think you need to drill, unbolt and use pclips directly to a carrier frame.
Cut and shut the carrier frame to match the dimensions you need, they’re silly-easy to shrink
