After getting four punctures in one week on the commute home, that’s when I finally switched to tubeless.

Possible solution: Tire liners, Thorn resistant tubes and sealant.
Maybe overkill but I stopped having punctures after doing that for both front and back tires and lived in an area with common goats head thorn punctures.
