Bristol is just a nightmare to drive round since adding bus and cycle lanes and bus gates…… So guess what I don't go there I don't want to go there don't want my Carr dont want my money. Instead of trying to fight this sort of thing….. Just don't go to any city that has these Ulez zones and hit them in the pocket. The other thing is if you drive down the port way to get to the airport you don't even go into the city centre but you go through the Ulez zone………its all about the money money 😂😂

As a Bristol resident the first and only time I was made aware of this so called public consultation was just now on this site ,the Communist RIP OFF MERCHANTS have got form for not telling the population of Bristol when they are planning to implement some legislation that is going to impact drivers in favour of cyclists, what a pile of steaming DUNG BRISTOL CITY COUNCIL IS. This reminds me of the time when they suddenly announced that they have installed a Metro Mayor WITHOUT ANY PUBLIC CONSULTATION WHATSOEVER apart from a couple of day's before the deal was implemented they published a tiny statement in a really OBSCURE Publication and then just steam rollered the whole thing through and basically totally ignored all the complaints that they NEVER TOLD THE POPULATION OF BRISTOL THAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO IT without any permission whatsoever 😢
They’re closing all the car parks so why would you want to drive in bristol? The plan is to build masses of apartments in their place so there will be no room for outsiders to visit anyway. It will just become a walled city again.
Down in the Kent, whoever l asked, voted Labour and/or Tory , Labour mostly, – they now surprised why cameras are built and free parking sites in the parks have disappeared completely. Majority have not even heard what "15min" cities are…

Glad I moved from Bristol. After my wife parked up at parkway and didnt tell me or notice the signs I had a huge fine for driving a 1.6 litre car. Driving a car and parking a car right next a major motorway causes so much pollution…. in the city centre over the other side of Bristol.. demented. I hope they loved that fine money as I have never visited again and tell others to avoid it I know most people just go to cribbs now so it will not be long until the city centre loses all the shops.
If this happens – Bristol will become another labour run ghetto of HMO's and students. since they introduced the ULEZ in the centre Ive not been to there or any place that require me to drive through there – so all my money gets spent in shops north of Bristol or online. That massive shopping development must be haemorrhaging money now from the low footfall numbers compared to what they were – £9 to go into the area + £6 to park ? No fkign thanks.
Just put an Asda, Tesco , lidl , morrisons, curry's argos and pound land with a few others in a retail park outside the shitty city or cities ( we know all will follow ) then the ppl will be fine but the city will crumble.
Nothing new about this. I worked in Bristol in 2005 and this was being talked about back then, witth the M32 being closed off and a park n ride set up.
