Alls I really remember from my high school German classes was how we’d take every opportunity to use the word fahrt as much as possible.
Why they decided to teach us German when I lived in Texas, I have no idea. Spanish would have been more useful.
The one time I attempted to address a native German speaker (we’d bought a company in Austria) his reply was ‘English please. It is easier for me to translate.
