Just got back from my tour. Started from La Pocatière and made my way up to Metis, at the beginning of the Gaspésie peninsula, and then back to Rivière-du-Loup to hop on the ferry. Got to see the coast and inland, as I tried to avoid the steepest hills and busy traffic.
It was my first multi-day tour and I feel I am converted. I not only rode but got to see friends and help them on their farm, and got to absorb the rural landscapes like I never had before. Got caught in the rain, camped in the wild, on a campground, on a kind stranger’s grass. Rode on roads, gravel, muddy trains and in really dense fog one morning. I pushed my bike uphill way more than I expected, which was humbling. Ended up being a shorter trip than I had planned, 550km, riding 6 days out of 10.

Beautiful! Your bike looks impressively clean in photo #11. Any take-aways for your next trip or for those who may ride the same route?
