New guy here.. Ive been wanting to get into cycling for a while now, specifically gravel riding. I want to be able to do some of the longer gravel and road rides that they do in the area. LBS recommended this bike for me. Just wanted to see if the reddit hive-mind had any thoughts or suggestions before I pulled the trigger. I did go for a test ride and it felt great, although I have no experience to compare it too lol. Any thoughts welcome, thanks!

I have this bike, changed the wheels to bontrager aeolus 35mm. Running strade bianchi 40mm tires on it. Rides like a dream, fast on the road nd holds well in dry sand or gravel.

Depends on where you are. It’s a good bike, but with Specialized tax of fancy. Some less known local European brands have little better gear for little less price. But if you are not into that thing, Diverge is an excellent bike for the money.
