  1. Certainly not leave it, because it will progress. To do it properly you have to strip the paint, sand it and repaint.

    Strip the paint, sand it down to clean metal and repaint it. Spray can or nail polish will both work. While you’re at it removing your forks/handlebars, seatpost and cranks so that you can use an aerosol corrosion preventative such as j.p. wiegle frame spray or something from the hardware store is strongly recommended. The external part of your frame is covered in paint/powdercoat and it still has this happen. The inside of your frame is bare aluminum. For bikes that are dealing with elements using an anti corrosion spray every 5 years is smart and recommended. Indoor trainer bikes should get resprayed every 2 years. Nail polish is surprisingly tough and whats commonly used as touchup paint. Wheeling your bike into the beauty store (or drug store with a good selection of nail polish) will allow you to get the best color match.

  4. Strip it to bare metal, prime it and then paint it. Remember to clean an area larger than the affected.

  5. The first pic looks like something to do with electrolytic corrosion, dissimilar metals in contact. I’d find some shrink wrap insulation to put round that brake cable end to keep it out of contact with the frame.
