Sadly had to replace dura ace rd7800 with sora rd3000 so I can put a bigger cassete on the back. I went 36-11, 2 tooth over spec and opted to put in a longer b screw. That didn't work as B screw just misses the notch and goes over. Also tried to invert it but it didnt do much.
Any better ideas to solve this? Wolf tooth?
(Went 36T on the back as front chainrings are 53-39 and I really wanted all advantage I could get)

A Goat link will sort this, and you’ll be able to take off the zip ties.
Replace the Sora with a 9 speed MTB rear derailleur. This will fix the problem.
I’m so confused as to why you want this gearing. Why not just go compact up front?
Temporary, sure. but the zip tie will break. Guaranteed. Equipment is simply not designed for what you want it to do.
As long as you are hacking things, I would explore different chainrings. There is more to the world than 53/39.
You can sometimes cheat the B-tension to get a little extra by shortening the housing loop headed into the derailleur. Often, it’s enough to buy you just a couple extra teeth on the biggest cog.
Your chain is on backwards btw
I did this some years ago but I did find a longer screw at Home Depot and ordered a Goat link. Seemed to of worked pretty well but the Goat link for sure was a must when I did the mod with a bigger cassette.
Have you tried shortening the chain? This was enough to get me an extra tooth on a Campag setup I had when I got a cassette slightly too large for the derailleur.
Put two small nuts on the new B screw. Thred through the derailleur, add two nuts to the end. That will allow the longer B screw to hit the hangar. I just did this on a deore 11sp…works great.
