Thought you guys might like this frame. Kind of a retro feel (those biplane forks are killing me) with interesting conveniences (disc brakes, 135mm sliding dropouts, lots of nubbins for attaching your gear and farkles). Love the chainstay shape, easy to run road cranks on there. Has room for tires but not sure I’d be able to squeeze much more than those 42mm cazadero’s in there.

Decent steel; not exactly a lightweight but it rides well. Not quite as noodly as my late-80’s Nishiki mixte but still has a bit of compliance. Tange Prestige ftw.

There’s some left-over stock out there on sale on the internets. Watch that effective top tube length; if you want a typical road-bike fit, consider going a size smaller than usual

  2. I have those bars and the fact they paired it with down tube shifters just to not have the trigger shifter “look” is making my brain hurt.

I love it! Would love to build a pair for my wife and I. Alas, too many bikes in the garage, and no room…

  4. That’s sweet! Would be too nice of a bike for what I would want to use it for. Would get jacked
