Hi!
TL;DR: Which is best? Also, is it easier to make reach smaller or stack higher?
Made a post couple of days ago about figuring out what mountainbikes would fit my long-legged, regular-armed joy of a body, and got some good feedback. I finally managed to narrow it down to two bikes: Merida Big Nine 400 XXL and Bulls Copperhead 3 29 XXL
Merida: https://www.merida.nl/mountainbike/big-nine-400-anthracite-black/2023 Bulls: https://www.mantel.com/bulls-copperhead-3-29
I can get both for approx. the same price. I'll be using the bike mainly for trails, and want to do some fun descents (as much as a hardtail allows me). However, it'll also function as my commuter for now (in the absence of a city bike) and I'll do some short trips when camping in Europe.
Also, I was wondering if it would be easier for me to make the stack of the Merida 2-3cm higher (dividers, more upright stem) or the reach of the Bulls 2-3cm smaller (shorter stem, more forward seat).
Curious to your thoughts!
