Mehdi here, co-founder of State Bicycle Co. – just putting a bow on things:, We just sold our last Undefeated frame so we’re going to recap the history of this model.
1️⃣ Undefeated Gen 1 Era (2013-2016) – 5 models – Black/Hi-Vis, 2015 Raw, 3 Special Editions: Rattlesnake, Simpson’s Donut, and LeMans. This model was launched after consecutive wins in Wolfpack Hustles‘s largest underground street race- hence the name “Undefeated”
2️⃣ Undefeated Gen 2 Era (2016-2021): the Undefeated II was tailored around fixed-gear crit racing like Red Hook Crit and Mission Crit and saw many SBC Team podiums in this era. We moved to round tubing and focused on making a light-stiff frame that handled better than most track bikes. The 4 colorways include : “Mermaid”, Black & White, Black Prism and Photon Blue.
3️⃣ Undefeated Gen 3 (2021-2024): aka “Undefeated Track” – switched from the 7075 tubing and moved to Y9 alloy containing titanium for further weight and performance improvements. The 2 colorways from this era are the White Tie-Dye and Graphite Prism.
