There is a bike pretty identical to this same color, great shape. Basically abandoned outside right next to me. But it’s my neighbors and i reckon she has a hoarding issue. It’s actually 7 am and that neighbor is flipping her shit like usual SMH

Welp I usually hate these because you know, millions of crappy U08s out there..But…
Someone actually swapped out the steel wheels for alloy ones, and swapped out the crappy delrin Simplex downtube shifters for later *much better quality* Suntour thumb shifters.
So you actually scored on this one.
If those wheels are 700c, congratulations you can find some big juicy tires to put on there, like 700×35 or maybe 700×40 if you’re lucky. I think only the rear is 700c though, just by where the brake pad is. Looks like the front is still 27″
But you’re definitely playing with house money with this.
BTW I wanna see more of your Lambretta. I’m still regretting selling my 150 Special 25 yrs ago but then I’d never bike.

I envy you, I want to find a Mixte to transform.
Head over to the xbiking sub for ideas. I can’t post the picture here, there is a non-Mixte Raleigh Record same general vintage and quality that was transformed into a single speed, absolutely beautiful. On that I think the only thing replaced was wheels, bar tape, and seat. After that it was all about subtraction. Used same crank, stem, bars.
