    Have you been locking up your rear on the gravel a lot? Could be that that’s rubbing past the nubs. 
    I wouldn’t expect this from normal use after 1200km though. You should ask Schwalbe for sure what their opinion is. 

  3. You need to replace your tyre.

    The Schwalbe R-series tyres are high performance lightweight tyres with soft rubber compounds. They prioritise low rolling resistance, weight, and grip over high mileage.

    They almost look sun-baked. Do you store your bike outdoors?

    I have the G One R’s and love them. No issues with 1000km so far.
