I’ve been cycling from the town centre to Cardiff Bay for several months now but I had no idea until yesterday, what lies behind the flats on Lloyd George Avenue. When I grew up in the 1970s, ’80s and even ’90s, this whole area used to be a huge, grimy industrial estate full of small factories and workshops. It’s now an idyllic neighbourhood with a mixture of residential homes and businesses all nestled along a rejuvenated canal. I’ll bet a lot of Cardiffians don’t even know this is here!
