  1. Just rebuilt my drivetrain, already had the tensioner mounted before I put the chain on. The chain barely fit, but I didn’t have a specific reason to remove the tensioner.
    Took it for a test ride, and at some point my shoe caught the tensioner and it got caught on this little eyelet on my frame. I just kept riding and the chain never skipped, so I just removed the tensioner when I got home.

  2. This aint ideal. And the chain may drop off over bumps and turns. Yrs it wont skip if you dont have a worn out or maybe 2 by chainring on it.
