Pic of the bike and seller’s description attached. I love it’s color theme and seems like components are quite upscale but it’s a 6 year old bike and I’m not sure about the geo.
I have no experience with full suspension and hearing that bike prices are at a historic low, I was hoping to be able to talk the seller down some, as money is rather tight atm -(
My other choices would be YT Capra/Jeffsy or Canyon Spectral, but I haven’t had luck snagging those. (Pinkbike has some nice options, but the sellers aren’t responding to messages or texts there for some reason)

Seems reasonable. Not a great deal but not outrageous at all.
Wayyyy too high. You could find a great new bike for that price. YT jeffsy or Norco Fluid are a good start
I think it seems like a reasonable starting price. It’s solidly specced. Realistically I think $1300-1500 is more likely what you will get. I’d try 2k for a while then drop to 1800
Components don’t appreciate, unfortunately.
If money is tight rn I wouldn’t go all out on a 6 year old carbon bike. Maybe look up into financing a new full suspension at a local store/the internet.
That way you can split up the cost over time, get some kind of warranty and have the peace of mind that everything is working as intended
I think 2k is pretty good if the bike is in good shape, but it all depends on your local market. If this is the best available for 2k, then it’s a good deal in your market lol
As for geometry, I highly doubt you’d find yourself constrained much by the bikes geometry, although it depends what you’re riding it on. Controversial opinion here, but i dont think longer and slacker is always better. For rough and fast descents it probably is, for technical climbs ill take my 2016 stumpy. Read reviews of the bike from 2018, I’m sure everyone aptly appreciated it back then and it hasn’t changed since.
Gentleman, I think y’all should took a look at the fork.
That’s a Tracer not a recluse. I have one. Great bike. Geo still holds up. Pay 1500
Have you looked at the brand new salsa blackthorn? It’s on sale for $2200.
I would not touch anything used over $1000 at this point
I would definitely try and talk that down, but I wouldn’t call it a scam to pay that much. If you wanted a brand new bike, you wouldn’t even come close to the level of components on here, even if they are a bit older. If you wanted that bike with fox factory suspension new you’d definitely be paying at *least* twice that.
probably worth about 1200-1400
Is it just me or does the fork look a little “off”?
