This is too far in my opinion. I’ve done this kinda thing once before, but not nearly this deformed. It’s steel, but it looks like fairly inexpensive stamped steel dropouts which my guess would be are not as strong, and not nearly worth the potential safety risk. Bending it back that far would still weaken it significantly, I imagine it like a paperclip being bent back and forth a few times and eventually breaking.

Dude this bike was free. Whatever it takes to attempt bending back the dropout (even if it fails) would certainly be worth having a sweet motobecane mixte.
