    Loam is decomposed tree debris, a soft top soil, usually deep in the woods. This is dry and dusty.

  2. I learned about moon dust/silt in the comments. I was gonna say it looks a lot like Florida sugar sand, but too much elevation. 😅

    Reminds me of kitty litter pumice at mammoth. Shiny at first then Hella fun when you get the hang of it.

    Jk I love that place! They only have a little bit of sand here and there and it really keeps it interesting. It’ll scare you your first lap of any run but by the second and third, you’ll be awesome at managing it and you’ll feel like a superhero
