  1. Damn lol show the full clip! You’re starting to turn when you’re front wheel is already at the lip of the jump. Try carving left a bit more before your front wheel gets to the lip, start the rotation with your hips and finish with your shoulders. Practice on flat too

    Right… Don’t look over your shoulder (you spin opposite to me), that tends to lead to a slightly weird rotation. And also brings the front of the bike up. Leading to a rear wheel down landing. Which results in the bike shooting out from under you.

    I was told to turn my head and try to look in the gap of my arm and hip (so same motion but down) keeps the bike flat in the air and gives a smoother landing. Usually both wheels down at the same time.

    I got this advice from Team GB bmxer when he was watching me relearn them. Now I land them regularly and much much smoother.

  3. 1. Full commitment. It’s easy to back out at 180.
    2. At about halfway, tuck the bike under you a bit. I always think of it like spinning in an office chair, you go faster when you tuck your legs up a bit.
