Still doesn’t feel real and it’s strange to think that I don’t have to get up tomorrow to continue the ride.
It’s done. After 5 months I have made it, it’s been 10.350km and exactly 20 countries that I had the pleasure of visiting on my bicycle. Not any bicycle of course, it was all done on my Peugeot Explorer 100 that i bought for 50€. I spiced the rig up to my liking and wanted to showcase that thise bikes have still a lot of potential beyond being computer bikes. A couple of you might remember the rig from a okder post when I arrived in Istanbul. I changed the rear bag setup as my saddle bag straps ripped, can’t go wrong with a rack and a drybag strapped to it. In general no other issues, had 3 flats (Scgwalbe Marathon mtb) 2 times it was a wire from the webbing of truck tieres and once a nail. The bike definitely got its fair share of offroad action especially when we crossed the Bartang valley and the frame and fork held up fine. A bit of air out the tires and we were able to get trough the roughest sections. #26aintdead

If you did this again would you still pick 26″ wheels?
Incredible! Thanks for sharing the bike and the journey, dude.
Looks great. How were the brakes on descents?
The dream, man! This is awesome!
