Today, I take a trip through my home town on my Switch powered M6L raw lacquer Brompton. Shrewsbury is a small market town, close to the Welsh border. Has much changed in the last 400 years? You tell me.
Absolutely love to see more. I live further down river in Worcester and visit Shrewsbury with my partner (often with our Bromptons) at least once every couple of months. Beautiful town
Curious how you find the switch kit, have you written the brompton E bike for comparison? How does the switch kit know when you’re accelerating and when to boost your ride? How do you find it other bikes?
Seems like a great affordable option to add to Brompton basic because one can fly with it, which is amazing. Just buy two of the smaller batteries or more and you’re good to go to fly anywhere in the world. And have an E bike with you.

What are the zigzags on UK streets / / / that occasionally appear before an intersection they’re not always before intersections. I see them in your video intermittently appear. It’s a zigzag on the left and right hand edge of the street I have no idea what it means.
Thanks for this glimpse into your town – it looks very nice! I live in Minnesota (USA) and hope to bring my Brompton to England for some exploring next year. How typical would you say that Shrewsbury is relative to other English small towns? Economic health, population growth or decline, that sort of thing?
"English Bridge"! In Denmark we have several of those over our Railroads, and looking like built of solid stones! Actually they are from concrete with a cover of stone plates on the outside!! They became built by a British Firm during several years. Finn. Denmark
Thank You for the Tour. I have spent time in the UK, also walking along Hadrians Wall from end to end! I still hate driving or riding in the wrong side, as it makes me shit my pants at intervals, when traffic comes from the wrong side and how to pass a Round About. But now, when the Continent has been cut off, I doubt I will ever come back? Finn. Denmark

Brompton is my dream bike. I live in a rural area of Texas so I bought a gravel bike since it made more sense when my traveling drastically reduced. But, im beginning to travel a little more now so hopefully next year I can save enough to get my brompton!
