I bought a 20in fiend Reynolds custom built last year and the rear end was too short, the 21"tt didn't feel long enough, and I like being able to add brakes. I gave it a few months then sold it and starting looking for something with a 21.5-22"tt. I found a few used bikes, but they either didn't reply or already sold. I kept seeing 22in bikes and it really caught my interest. I researched everything about them and went in the hunt. Again I was always too late to buy them until now. I know have a WTP audio that is basically brand new. As soon as I got on it just felt right. Being older and having bad knees and a not so great back it is super comfortable. The back end being over 14 is fine with the 22" wheels and besides when I was riding the most 13.75 was considered short.

I do plan on changing a couple things like putting on a half link chain and possibly chrome rims at least for the rear since it’s the best for braking. I’ll probably build a whole wheel with a freecoaster to give myself some options. Also looking into getting pitchforks with a 26mm offset since it’s already big enough and plenty stable it might make it a little more responsive. I may try to find a used pair of the WTP or fit fork and see if I can grind them to shorten up the offset like I’ve done with frames back in the day.
